It's Been A Stinker!

For years, there has been the ongoing debate surrounding the dog poo & litter across the fields adjoining Jowkin Lane, Bamford cricket club & playing fields.

The difficulty is that the council cannot maintain a litter bin which they cannot access from the main road. This results in litter, dog poo bags and dog poo amassing beside styles and on the fields.

Friends of Bamford have worked with the local council to get a permanent bin installed beside Bamford cricket club. This gives dog walkers and locals another bin to target with their redundant possessions.

Feedback has been positive from the local residents and it is great to see it already being regularly used.
