Friends of Bamford plant daffodils on the Green

Friends of Bamford have been busy planning an exciting schedule of forthcoming community events.

The first of these is in 2 weeks time:  Daffodil Planting on the Green.

Where? Meet on the Green opposite Tesco Express, Norden Road

When? Sunday 14th October, from 1.00pm onwards. In case of wet weather, it will be the first dry Sunday after this.

What to bring? Spade                           These new bulbs will supplement the daffodils already planted on the Green last year by community volunteers. Everybody is welcome, so why not come along and plant a few, either the ones which we will be supply, or feel free to buy a bag of bulbs and bring your own.

This family event would be great to bring your children along too, and let them see their bulbs emerge in the spring. The bulbs will naturalise and increase over time and provide a stunning swathe of colour every spring for us all to enjoy.
